Welcome to the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District (BRSSD) Online Enrollment Form
Please reference this page as a guide to the student enrollment process.
Online Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year and the upcoming 2026-2027 school year is now open. Please refer to the 2026-2027 Enrollment Timeline on the BRSSD website for information on submitting supplemental documents.
Completing this Online Enrollment Form is the necessary process to enroll your child(ren) into our school district. The Online Enrollment Form contains prompts to guide you through. We recommend running this through Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari web browsers. Older versions of Internet Explorer may experience issues.
FIRST STEP: You must have an email address to establish and verify your account to enroll online. After creating your account and verifying it via email, click the link provided to return to the enrollment form to continue the process.
SECOND STEP: Enter your child(ren)’s enrollment information online. Please note the following guidelines:
- Student’s name, please enter the name as it appears on the birth certificate or passport. Include the middle name, if given.
- Grade: BRSSD follows the age eligibility guidelines set by the California Department of Education:
- Transitional Kindergarten:
- 2025-26 Student will be four years old by September 1 of the year of enrollment.
- Kindergarten: Student will be five years old on or before September 1 of the year of enrollment.
- First Grade: Student will be six years old on or before September 1 of the year of enrollment.
- Use these standard postal abbreviations: Ave Blvd Ct Dr Ln Pkwy Pl Rd St Way.
- For the address field, do NOT use any punctuation, special symbols or labels (e.g., #, Apt).
- For the full parent/guardian name field, use the following format when entering name(s):
- Two parents with the same last name: Joseph / Lindsey Gore
- Two parents with different last names: Joseph Gore / Lindsey Smith
- One parent/guardian: Joseph Gore
- Select the Enrollment Period you are enrolling in:
- 2025-26 Current Year Enrollment: Any child to be enrolled in the current school year.
- 2026-27 Sibling Enrollment Period: January 9, 2026 - February 13, 2026
- 2026-27 First Enrollment Period: January 9, 2026 - March 13, 2026
- 2026-27 Second Enrollment Period: March 14, 2026 - May 15, 2026
- 2026-27 Third Enrollment Period: May 16, 2026 - Ongoing for 2026-27
- Language Information Section - California requires schools to determine the primary language spoken in the homes of all students. This information is very important for providing appropriate instructional programs and services.
- Required Documents for Registration - During this process, you will be asked to upload required documents to complete the online enrollment form. ALL of the following documents must be submitted for a student’s registration to be considered complete.
- Original document of Parent or Guardian/Caregiver picture identification. Acceptable identification: driver's license, state-issued ID, passport, or other non-expired government-issued photo ID
NOTE: If student lives full-time with a caregiver instead of a parent, the caregiver must provide a completed Caregiver Affidavit.
- Original document of Student Identification: birth certificate, non-expired passport, baptismal certificate, OR a statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying the date of birth.
- Residency document, Primary Proof: One (1) of the following documents with the parent/guardian’s name and address:
- Parents/Guardians who are homeowners: Current property tax bill or payment receipt (showing owner name and address). For recent purchases, we will accept the current closing statement or deed.
- Parents/Guardians who are renters: Current Lease Agreement with Manager/Landlord’s contact information and signatures. All pages of the original lease, including signature pages, are needed in addition to any additional documents that extend the lease end date.
If the lease end date has expired, or the lease is month-to-month, an additional letter is needed from the manager/landlord indicating the parent(s)/guardian(s) are current residents, which must be dated within the last 30 days.
- Shared living arrangements: Provide a notarized Shared Residency Affidavit. Parents/guardians must also provide, in addition, ALL required documents listed on the Shared Residency Affidavit.
- Residency documents, ADDITIONAL proof: Two (2) of the following original, and most current, documents with the name, date, and address:
Utility bill, statement, or payment receipt: PG&E, water, internet, cable, landline phone, or garbage are examples of residency documents. If you recently moved, we accept confirmation of service letters from utility providers dated within the last 30 days.
For renters and homeowners, these documents must be in the parents'/guardians' name
For shared living arrangements, these documents must be in the name of the person with whom you are living OR in the parents'/guardians' name.
NOTE: We do NOT accept mortgage, HOA, insurance, bank statements, or cellular service documents as utilities.
- Immunization Record:
All immunization records must include the student’s full name, date of birth, the date each vaccine dose was administered, the type of vaccine given, and the physical or electronic signature of the U.S. licensed healthcare provider who administered the vaccine. Documentation must be recorded on an official U.S. immunization record or on the letterhead of a U.S. licensed healthcare provider or U.S. health agency.
Pre-Kindergarten Entry - Students entering Pre-K must provide documentation of the following immunizations:
- 3 Polio, 4 DTaP, 3 Hepatitis B, 1 Varicella, 1 Hib (administered on or after the 1st birthday), 1 MMR (administered on or after the 1st birthday)
TK/Kindergarten–8th Grade Entry - Students entering transitional kindergarten through 8th grade must provide:
- 4 Polio, 2 MMR, 3 Hepatitis B, 2 Varicella, 5 DTaP, DTP, Tdap, or Td,
Entering 7th Grade and Above - Students age 11 or older entering 7th grade or higher must also have:
- 1 additional Tdap booster
Tuberculosis (TB) Requirements
- A TB Risk Assessment should be completed by a U.S. healthcare provider for all new TK–8th grade admissions.
- If the student is considered at risk, a negative TB test (TST or IGRA) is required.
- If the TB test result is positive, the student must undergo a medical evaluation, including a symptom review, physical exam, and chest X-ray to rule out active TB disease. Written confirmation of no active disease is required for school entry.
- Translation and Verification of Immunization Records
Parents/guardians of international students must provide an English-translated immunization record that has been issued or verified by a U.S. licensed healthcare provider or U.S. health agency at the time of enrollment. Enrollment cannot be completed, and the student may not attend school, until written verification is submitted confirming that the immunization record has been translated and validated by a U.S. licensed healthcare provider or U.S. health agency.
Please note that failure to provide immunization documentation meeting the criteria above may result in processing delays that could exceed 10 business days.

- You have completed the Online Enrollment Form for your child once you have clicked "Finished and Submit". If you are enrolling additional students, the system will allow you to do so after completing enrollment of your first child.
